MY SUMMER PLANS

My summer plans are to go to New York with my grandpa and grandma.My grandpa works for transporting food in a big truck so since he has to go there anyways he asked me if I wanted to go.We are going to go see the Statue Of Liberty, and even go to the very top of the hat on the head of it. I have been to New York before but I do not remember, since I am older I will remember and be old enough to take pictures.I am exited.


Another summer plan my family has is to go camping at Lake Amador. We are going with are trailer. Were going to go fishing swimming and even roast marshmallows. My family has been camping many times but I have never been to Lake Amador. I am a very big fan when it comes to camping I love to do everything outdoors like play soccer and go swimming.

I am exited my whole summer is going to be a blast.

UNRESPONSIVENESS

Reconizing and doing what needs to be done before I am asked to do it.

What I have been doing to show INITIATIVE is cleaning my room every week, doing homework and helping my sister and brother with there homework, and water the huge backyard and all of the little flowers and fruit trees.

UNRESPONSIVENESS would be me not watering the plants and cleaning my room every week and refussing to do it. My parents would not like that and I would upset god. Because I am supposed to obey them and when I do obey I get rewarded by my parents and also by god and they are proud of me.

So what I did is set an example to my sister and brother showing them what god and also my parents want them to do. Now my sister and brother sometimes are INITIATIVE in doing what needs to be done.

Current Evevnts

What I think about this weeks current events is that its pretty sad that this problem still exists. We, the US, should have had this problem under control a long time ago but that's just my opinion.


I feel like because we are still allowing these guns to circulate, we are giving these bad people a ticket to kill whenever they want. This saddens me.


The fact that so many people are being killed by these assault weapons should be more of a reason for them to get banned for good. I hope that they pass a law real soon. These guns should only be used by people who are protecting us, not killing us.

American, 88, freed after 2 months in Mexican jail

There was a man named Edward Chrisman who is 88 years old and he was riding with his grandson to Mexico to go to the dentist when they got arrested. The police was looking for Edward's grandson only but the police put Edward and his grandson in jail. Gary Chrisman Jr. who is 40 years old took pictures of a lady's teenage daughter when she did not want him to and the lady got mad and called the police on him.

Edward started getting very sick when he was in jail and his family was very worried about his health. Their family spent a lot of money trying to have attorneys get Edward and Gary out of the Mexico jail, but it took them two months to get Edward out. Gary is still in the Mexico jail waiting for the judge to let him out.

I chose this current event because of the grandfather being 88 years old and going to jail. He should never gone to jail because he did not do anything wrong.

ROSA PARKS

Mrs. Rosa Parks was a black lady who lived during a time when black people were not treated the same as white people. The black people had to use separate bathrooms and ride in the back of the bus because white people were the only ones who could ride in the front of the bus. One day Mrs. Rosa Parks was waiting on the bus and decided that she did not want to sit in the back of the bus anymore. When she got on the bus she did not go to the back of the bus but she sat in the front where the white people would sit.

On December 1, 1955, Mrs. Parks stood up for her Civil Rights and other people joined her. Mrs. Parks became famous for standing up for her rights. After that Mrs. Parks met with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and they started Montgomery Improvement Association. Then other black people joined Mrs. Parks and stop riding the buses for 382 days. The bus company decided to let the black people ride on the bus and sit wherever they wanted to sit.

LOVE VS SELFISHNESS

GIVING TO OTHERS BASIC NEEDS WITHOUT HAVING AS MY MOTIVE PERSONAL REWARD.

What I think this character clue means is to give someone a gift and not expect anything back from them.

Example: If I got a brand new puppy for Christmas and my brother and sister did not get a puppy instead of me teasing them the best thing for me to do would be to share it with them and not brag about it.

A bad example would be for me to brag about my new puppy that I got for Christmas and just rub it in their faces and say ha!ha!ha!. That would set a bad example for my sister and brother.

God and my parents would want me to share my new puppy with my brother and sister and NOT RUB IT IN THEIR FACES. I SHOULD LEARN TO SHARE WITHOUT EXPECTING ANYTHING IN RETURN BECAUSE THAT WILL MAKE GOD HAPPY.

HEDGE BLOG

WHEN I WAS JUST 13 MONTHS OLD MY SISTER ABBY WAS BORN. WHEN MY AUNT LYDIA TOOK ME TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE MY MOM, DAD AND MY NEW BABY SISTER ABBY WERE, I DON'T ACTUALLY REMEMBER THIS VERY WELL, BUT I SLAPPED MY SISTER IN THE FACE. I KEPT SAYING TO EVERYONE THAT I DIDN'T DO THAT BUT I REALLY DID.

WHEN I GOT OLDER AND MY MOM TOLD ME THIS STORY I DID NOT BELIEVE HER. I THOUGHT SHE WAS JUST MAKING IT UP BUT SHE WASN'T. AS I GOT OLDER, I STARTED REMEMBERING THAT SITUATION AND NOW I KNOW FOR SURE THAT I DID SLAP HER PROBABLY BECAUSE I WAS JEALOUS OF NOT BEING THE BABY ANYMORE.

THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS TO ALWAYS BELIEVE YOUR PARENTS BECAUSE THEY USUALLY DON'T LIE!

My trip to Lake Tahoe

My family and some of our friends went to Lake Tahoe over Christmas vacation. We rented a cabin for a week. On one of the days there, me, my sister Abby and our friend Jasmine went outside to build a snowman. We used some grapes for the eyes, a carrot for the nose, a hat,  and my scarf and gloves to put around it's neck and arms.  

The kids made a snow fort that we could all play with during our trip to the cabin. It was alot of fun to build it. We never actually got to have a snowball fight because it was really cold up there. It got to 9 degrees outside. It was super super cold. We even had a day that snowed all day long.

My brother Joshy, my dad and the rest of the boys went skiing two days in a row. They said it was a blast but the girls decided not to go. We stayed at the cabin in the warmth.  We made food and hot chocolate  for when they got back from their skiing trip.

On one of the days, all the girls went ice skating. We waited almost 30 minutes in line just to get our skates.  Once we were on the rink, we kept falling down and hurting our bottoms. After about 2 hours we decided we had enough. We found a pizza place at Northstar and we decided to go and eat in a warm restaurant.

It was finally the day to go home but we didn't really want to leave just yet. We all had alot of fun together. We will miss all the nights we stayed up late to play games. We will miss all the junk food we got to eat. Overall, we had a very very good time. Everyone should visit Lake Tahoe in the winter atleast once in their lives.

CHRISTMAS BLOG

WHAT CHRISTMAS REALLY MEANS TO ME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PRESENTS OR CHRISTMAS TREES OR ANY TYPE OF DECORATIONS. WHAT IT MEANS TO ME IS THAT THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THE MANY SPEACIAL DAYS THAT WE SHOULD BE CELEBRATING JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOR WHO DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS.

CHRISTMAS IS KNOWN AS THE "BIRTH" DAY OF CHRIST TO MANY OF US. SOME SAY THAT IT ISN'T SO BUT I STILL BELIEVE IT. I FEEL EXTRA SPEACIAL BECAUSE I WAS ALSO BORN ON CHRISTMAS DAY. JESUS AND I CELEBRATE OUR BIRTHDAYS ON THE SAME DAY.

I BELIEVE THAT HE WAS BORN TO VIRGIN MARY TO SHOW THE WORLD JUST HOW PURE HE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE. I SURE AM GLAD THAT HE WAS BORN AND THEN DIED FOR OUR SINS SO THAT WE CAN SPEND ETERNITY WITH HIM AND THE FATHER UP IN HEAVEN.
